While almost every commercial writing brief requires some level of creativity, very few give the writer a completely free rein. Still, it does occasionally happen, and - when it does - the writer needs to be able to shrug of the shackles of the usual copywriting rules and let the imagination run wild. Not every commercial writer is comfortable with such a scenario, but I enjoy it. Here are a few examples my work at the more creative end of the spectrum - some commercial briefs, some on my own behalf.
